I would like to express my appreciation and tell about my experience with L&M HEAT COOL Service Company. My heater had broke during a very cold week of February. I called the Heat Cool Services and Mark came the same evening to diagnose the problem. He found that the heating element broke and explained to me that manufacturer doesn't produce such details any more, my old heater was more than 30 years old. Mark recommended to install a new heater - energy efficient and modern. I took his advise and I am happy with this decision and with the work Mark has done. He did a very good job installing the new heater and new humidifier. I would definitely recommend him to my friends if they need heating or cooling services.

I am writing to thank Mark and his L & M Heat Cool Service company for the great service I received when I needed a new furnace and A/C unit recently. Mark looked at my existing unit, which was original to the building and after many years of good service would not last another winter. He recommended the best manufacturer, size, efficiency level, warranty and price for my size condo unit. I went on-line and was impressed with the features of the unit he recommended and its greater efficiency level. I told Mark to go ahead and order it. He carefully removed my old furnace and a/c unit and installed the new one, with a new thermostat- even purchasing and placing a new concrete slab for the a/c unit so it would be above the grass and rain line. Mark did a beautiful job. He was not only neat, clean and very knowledgeable, but he also worked with me to satisfy my time constraints. After the installation, he gave me another card and told me if I had any questions or concerns to be sure to call him. I am very pleased with my purchase, its performance and with Mark's expertise. Mark and his team converted our hot water heating system to a forced air heating and air conditioning system. This work was part of a remodeling of the first floor of our house. Our general contractor recommended L & M Heat Cool Service. Mark provided a very reasonable price to remove my existing furnace and radiators and install the new forced air system including the duct work.The decision to replace the heating system was made well into the general contractors work so the heating system work had to be done quickly so as not to delay the other work.We accepted the estimate on a Thursday and Mark and his team began work on Saturday. They worked through the weekend and continued (working form early in the morning until late in the evening) until the work was completed. They fabricated all of the sheet metal duct work. The workmanship is excellent and the system has been in operation for 6 months without any problems.We highly recommend L & M HeatCool Service and will call them for all of our service needs.

My heating system was 24 years old and was starting to nickel and dime me.One time a new motor then a new squirrel cage then a vacuum breaker and so it was time to replace it.When you replace a system you hope you chose a person who takes personal pride in his work. I could not have chosen a better company to do mine. Since my air conditioning worked OK. He replaced just the heating unit and humidifier.The workmanship was superb and I am very satisfied with my system. I would highly recommend Mark anytime.

L & M HeatCool SERVICE TO THE RESCUE! Our heating boiler died just as Xmas was ending. Late the next day, L & M HeatCool Service was the only service willing and able to brave blowing snow and cold on the drive from Chicago to Grayslake in order to repair it! Afterwards Mark pointed out something we already knew: that the boiler really needed to be replaced. He guided us in the purchase of a new boiler, and a couple of weeks later arrived to install it. Both times we were impressed with the quality of Mark's work: he was knowledgeable, attentive to detail, thorough, punctual and clean. As a bonus he was patient and good-natured. And to top things off, he was reasonably priced and followed up his work with phone calls. We will certainly use L & M HeatCool Service for all of our future heating and cooling needs, and also recommend it to family, friends and neighbors.

When a water heater breaks down at the house with family of 6 it’s a pretty uncomfortable situation. Thanks to L&M Heat Cool Service it wasn’t a disaster. Their technician showed up next day and was able replace the unit with the state of the art energy efficient water heater, which saves us money, and most important made the shower sprinkle us with warm water the at day.
